Pratyusha Banerjee was one of the famous Indian television actresses. She worked in television shows like Balika Vadhu, popularly known as Aanandi. She was a contestant of TV show Big Boss, also played a character of Mohini in Sasural Simar Ka and she was last seen in Sony TV’s reality show Power Couple with her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.
On 1 April 2016 she was found dead in her apartment as she committed suicide and hanged herself, it was found in P.M report that she was pregnant and one day before committing suicide she had done abortion. Pratyusha was cremated as a bride as she had mentioned her wish to get married sometime before committing suicide hence her family dressed her as a bride before bidding her adieu.
